Meet the licensed child development experts who teach at Mission Bay Preschool

Our Mission Bay Preschool teachers are kind, caring, and experienced

Delanney

Hello my name is Delanney and I am the Head Teacher at Mission Bay Preschool. Our program is a Spanish Immersion program. I have been working in child development for 5+ years as a bilingual teacher (English and Spanish), currently a college student pursuing a Bachelors in Science with a double major in Child Psychology. I have worked with children of all backgrounds and many age groups but fell in love with the minds of our little people and Montessori. Something you will find at Mission Bay Preschool is a love for language and facilitating creative experiences. My teaching philosophy revolves around encouraging children not to be discouraged by mistakes, but rather to be galvanized into correcting them on their own, with gentle guidance. In my off time you can find me reading books, cooking, baking, practicing ASL and learning something new everyday.

Destiny

Hello my name is Destiny Stone and I am the co-teacher at Mission Bay Preschool. I have been teaching since 2019, I obtained my Associate teacher permit last semester and by fall 2023 I
will have 3 AA degrees, Psychology, Child Development and Social sciences and lead
teacher permit. I specialize in high Trauma care and behavior.

I am a person that loves to learn and explore, so i have many hobbies and interests.
Some of my most prominent are learning about Eastern and Latin cultures, history,
mythology, theism and languages. I am teaching myself Japanese and Guatemalan
dialect Spanish at the moment. Aside from that my hobbies include many mediums of
art and crafting.

My teaching style is child based and trauma responsive, full of activities, artistic
expression and healing if necessary. We will sing, dance and make a big mess! I let
kids be kids and help them learn how we are biologically evolved to, by experiencing
life

Our Head of Education

Adam

I am Tinycare’s Head of Education, and focus on supporting our teaching teams and family communities across our network. Prior to joining Tinycare in 2020, I was previously an elementary school principal and instructional superintendent, where I worked on innovative school models. My wife and I have a 9 month old at home, so I my focus on early childhood and reaching developmental milestones extends beyond my professional role!
